    I know a lot of people have already talked about the topic of deforestation. But through this project I have learned how deforestation affects the community I was raised in. With research you can understand the environment and how it affects each person. North Carolina will also be home to me and I hope it can remain the same North Carolina that I was raised in environmentally. I learned how deforestation affects my community.  From 2001- 2020 North Carolina has lost 26% of its tree coverage. If this continues for years to come there will be no trees eventually left in North Carolina. Natural agriculture is one of the things that makes North Carolina so beautiful. Not only does it add to the beauty of my home state but also is something that helps improve air quality and water clarity. Deforestation is a bad thing in all communities but I didn’t realize how severe of a problem it was until it affected a community that has importance to me. I get that deforestation happens for many reasons including but not limited to; Housing, building of resources, agriculture, farm land. But I think we could preserve natural land material if would found more environmentally friendly ways to build.

              As well as a lot of other people, I enjoy a nice relaxing day on the water. Some people decide to take a weeks worth of days on the water. Including a boat, food, and entertainment. Cruise ships are some what of a luxury with the fancy dinners every night. Swimming pools and massive halls for shows and people to perform. Not to forget some even have places to throw cards and gamble. In recent study’s, cruise ships are found to be a major contributor to the growth of on water environmental pollution and degradation. This is also due to the ever so increasing amount of people taking cruises along with the industry booming in the way that it did. The recent popularity before COVID-19 had researchers interested.   The worlds ocean fish stock is on the verge of collapsing. T he  International Union for Conservation of Nature , Jared Ferrie reports that the oceans have absorbed more than 93 percent of the heat generated by human activity since the 1970s, primarily through its large surface area, volume, and low albedo. Last year, the ocean was its warmest in 136 years of records. The increase in temperature has led to new toxic organisms and algae bloom that poison fish. Many specials are leaving their natural habitats in search of cooler areas. Since fish are leaving their natural habitat it causes a lot of problems for the fish in the habitat they move to. Food starts to dwindle down quicker that it should and the people that eat fish can search for fish in that area but cast find any if the fish leave.
