Organic farming: why we don't have more organic farms

According to the article, there are plenty of benefits to organic agriculture. These benefits include sustainability, reduction of non renewable energy, no use of GMO's, etc. In organic farming, they use different practices than in traditional farming, which eliminates plenty of wastes and other things that are detrimental to our environment.

In my opinion, all farming should be organic. The reason it isn't is because industrial faring allows for crops and meats to be mass produced, but it is terrible for the environment. If we could do away with industrial farming and all convert to organic farming, it would be much better for our environment.

  1. I totally agree that all farming should be organic. The food that is made out of organic farming also is healthier for you as well. The fact that it is better for the environment is just another reason that all farming should be organic.
