Why water pollution is hurting us

Summary: The earth is very known for the water we have that make up many things in our environment but water pollution is something that is killing us both directly to our bodies and indirectly to our environment as well. The pollution would start from on land by the coast or inland. Many things can be dumped into our oceans and river streams like chemical waste, metals, and etc. Not only is that the only thing that’s causing pollution but other things like sewage and wastewater is another thing that’s killing the water in oceans and lakes. Most of the waste water that flows through our system goes untouched and flows back to the environment to us people and economy. There has also been recorded deaths from this situation as well, at least 1.8 million deaths were recorded in 2015, so just imagine how many deaths are recorded from 2016-2021. The reason why there are so many deaths is because these dirty waters can spread diseases to people who swim in toxic water. There are many ways for us people to do a better job at this problem by recycling our bottles, depose chemical things by not pouring into the drain or any substance that will harm the ocean, and etc. This problem can be solved easily but need everyone to help out the community.
I like the that you gave statics that show us water population is dangerous for not only the environment but for people too. You said the problem could be fixed easily but how could you go more into depth on how we could fix this problem for the future?
