Fossil Fuels Ylaria Valadez September 15, 2021
Fossil fuels are a nature fuel like coal or gas that are made from decomposing plants and animal. They are found in the crust of the Earth and contain carbon and hydrogen which are then burned for energy. There are many disadvantages of fossil fuels, land degradation, water pollution, and emissions. Land degradation unearths, processing and moving underground oil, coal and gas. Water pollution threatens waterways and ground water. Fossil fuels emit harmful air pollutants even before they are burned. Major progress has been made toward setting up renewable energy and energy efficiency. Not only is energy efficiency the cleanest, cheapest and largest energy resource it can also make up to 2.2 million new jobs in the U.S.
