Pesticide Use In Agriculture

Pesticides in agriculture are chemicals that kill bugs, parasites, and other small creatures that damage crops. Yes, these help for our food production, but it is terrible for our environment. According to Panna.com, it is killing off our bees, bats, and frogs. Water contaminated with pesticides can even turn male tadpoles to females due to the chemicals. Runoff of pesticides are un-regulated, and can even kill off our birds. Without these insects and animals, it will put a ripple in our ecosystems and it can cause many things to go wrong. There has to be an alternative to pesticides, and we need to find it and take action, before it’s too late.

  1. This is good information even for my topic, i most certainly forgot that many people do use pesticides and it does get into our waters. This is one way water pollution starts. Other wise, your information is spot on, i like how you tell how it hurts us and other animals and why we can’t keep using it.
