Our current waste management programs are not sustainable. the things that are left and thrown away some of them will rot and disintegrate. This process causes bad smells in the environment near the waste facility. This is also not sustainable due to the limited amount of space that we have to actually create waste units. Waste gets thrown to other places like landfills because  waste facilities fill all the way up. But the things that rot in the smell are the least of our concerns. what about the things that do not rot or disintegrate or become smaller, they stay in that place for years on top of years. Eventually there will be more non-biodegradable waste than there is space keep it it or “dispose” of it.

  1. Great blog response Julius. This has definitely been a huge problem over the years. Garbage that doesn't get disposed of properly can be very damaging to the environment. Especially those material such as plastic, that don't break down very easily. We all need to do a better job of disposing things properly. Overall great job.
