Will Europe Face an Energy Crisis?

 Energy Crisis Erupting in Europe

As the weather gets cooler during the day, energy consumption will begin to rise. Whether you are turning on the heat in your home, or cranking the heated seats energy consumption will change drastically. Unfortunately for Europe citizens this spike in consumption could lead to a detrimental spike in energy and oil prices.

Although the solution may seem easy, Europe and other major oil consumers are having a had time convincing OPEC+ to produce more oil for them. OPEC+ have decided to stick to their original plan to keep oil production to 400,000 oil barrels a day, which some claim will not be enough oil as we get into the colder seasons.

I believe that the energy shortages that have been happening all over the world creates even more evidence for the need of mass renewable energy. Hopefully one day we find a way to get rid of the need to worry about oil production.

Do you think that shortages like these show necessity of renewable energy?

Would you switch to renewable energy if given the option?
