Food in less developed countries

Less developed countries suffer from poor food systems. The distribution and the costs are way different than in more developed countries. Foods are more expensive, and one of the biggest problems in these types of countries is that the government is too unstable, meaning that so many times they suffer from corrupt leaders that would make it even more difficult for people to get food at good cost. Nutrient-dense foods like eggs, milk, fruit, and vegetables can be very expensive in these countries. That makes it harder to diversify away from nutrient-sparse staple foods like rice, corn, and bread.
