Energy Efficient Cars
Energy Efficient Cars- Ylaria Valadez
There are three different types of energy efficient cars. There is gas-powered fuel efficient, hybrid, and electric. Each of these types of cars is designed to use less gas and they reduce a vehicles carbon footprint. Regular vehicles release a least 333 million tons of carbon dioxide every year. Every day 391.4 million gallons of gas every single day. Gas- powered fuel efficient cars run on gas but are designed with a smaller engine and weigh less than other cars on the market. Hybrid cars run with both gas and they have an electric motor, they lower the emissions overall. Electric cars have an electric motor that is powered by a rechargeable battery.

I feel as though electric cars are the direction that we all need to go into as a nation. If the government was to place incentives for switching, we would see a massive increase in the ownership of these cars, and a large decrease in air pollution as well.
