Surprisingly the worlds most relied on renewable energy source is water, even over wind and sunlight. All throughout the globe utilities use hydropower to generate electricity because it is a lot easier to store and easier to mover from place to place and dispatch. Other than the profound ecosystem impact of making huge waterways, hydropower actually can wreak a havoc on aquatic species and those species ecosystem. Most of watersheds around the world are very highly degraded and have very polluted waterways

  1. I agree it is surprising that water is relied on more than wind and sunlight. I could see how water is easier to use and move than other resources. It's sad to see the impact that this has on the ecosystems, because if its the most used, there isn't really a way we can drastically decrease the negative effects that it has on those ecosystems.

  2. I agree with your topic, but its shocking that people doesnt take care of it. Even though it may be a renewable source, there are animals that live in this ecosystem, and we should take care of that.
