Importance of the food distribution

 Food distribution is probably one of the most important things when it comes to this topic. This is the process where the general population is being supplied with food. Food distribution is composed of a variety of companies which are in charge of collecting, storing and distributing. Each of these processes is important as they make it safe for people to be able to satisfy from them. 

Food can be distributed to manufacturers, grocery stores, restaurants, cafeterias, government aid programs and more.

However, there can be many problems with the distribution of the food, and one to consider is the food freshness. This is a big challenge when it comes to the companies, as they can face a lot of issues  in the storage and management

Not only because of the short term effects but also the long term effects on our environment. The most recent one I have heard of is the oil spill off the coast of California. The amount of oil that is dumped into the ocean when an oil spill happens is more of a problem than the oil. If you added a drop of oil to a glass of water it wouldn’t seem like much but fill the glass ¼ full of oil and it makes a big difference.
